HW #13 IRP week 4 and #14 Introductory paragraph, 11/23

  • Read and complete IRP week 4. Be sure to check the resources section of this blog if you need the question. You must meet the minimum word requirement for me to accept your homework.
  • By the end of class on Wednesday, you should have completed your typed outline for the persuasive essay topic you've chosen. Here is the handout with the correct format if you need it. If you don't finish your outline in class, you'll need to finish this over the holiday break. You need to then write your introductory paragraph. This must introduce your topic, be typed, double-spaced and at least five sentences. What is your hook to draw the reader in? Be clever and creative. Use one of the types of introductions shown here.
