HW #5 Two sources; 200 word research paragraph, Monday, April 30

Narrow down your list of 5 historic/news worthy events to the one most interesting to you.  You will be setting a short, fictional story during this event so choose with that in mind.

11.  Locate two sources, print them and highlight or underline important facts.
22.  Write a 200 word, typed, double-spaced paragraph about your event.  Focus on answering these questions:
·         Who was involved?
·         When did it happen?
·         Where did it take place?
·         What happened?  (include lots of detail)
·         Why is this event important?

WRITE IN YOUR OWN WORDS.  DO NOT COPY YOUR SOURCES WORD FOR WORD.  CHANGE WORDS AND STRUCTURE TO BE YOUR UNIQUE VOICE.
